Specialist Teaching Assistant Hearing Impairment Location: Oldham Hours: 32.5 hours per week Contract: Term Time Only + 5 days Day Rate: £90-£105 Start Date: November 2026 Make a real difference to the lives of children and young people with hearing loss! Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about inclusion and helping children and young people reach their full potential? Do you have experience supporting children with hearing loss and a good understanding of how to remove barriers to learning? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for a Specialist Teaching Assistant Hearing Impairment to join a specialist service supporting children and young people across a range of educational settings, including Early Years. This is a genuinely rewarding role where you will play an important part in helping children with hearing loss access education, develop their confidence and independence, and achieve the outcomes and aspirations they deserve. You will work closely with Qualified Teachers of the Deaf, schools, families and other professionals, providing tailored support to individual children across different settings.
