The school is looking for an individual who can provide consistency, encouragement and positive support to young people who may experience barriers to learning as a result of their social, emotional and mental health needs. About the PositionYou will work as part of a dedicated team supporting pupils both within the classroom and across the wider school environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include: Supporting pupils with SEMH needs across different key stages. Assisting with classroom learning and activities. Working on a one-to-one or small-group basis. Helping pupils develop strategies to manage their emotions. Supporting positive behaviour and reinforcing appropriate boundaries. Building positive and professional relationships. Encouraging pupils to become more confident and independent. Providing reassurance and consistency when situations become challenging. Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff. Adapting your approach to suit individual pupils and circumstances.
