      <description>Location: Southend-on-sea | Salary: 20.00-20.00 Hourly | Type: Contract | Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Specialist Support Worker to work with one of our Housing Association clients. What the Job Will be doing  Managing a caseload of customers with complex and multiple support needs, delivering tailored, person-centred support. Carrying out strengths-based assessments, risk assessments and developing outcome-focused support plans. Supporting customers to sustain their tenancies and prevent homelessness through early intervention and practical support. Working proactively with customers experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, poor mental health, substance misuse and social exclusion. Providing advice and support around welfare benefits, budgeting, financial wellbeing and income maximisation. Supporting customers to access healthcare, mental health services, substance misuse services, education, training and employment opportunities. Conducting home visits, outreach work and community-based support to engage customers who may be difficult to reach.
