      <description>Location: Birmingham | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Specialist Support Teaching Assistant - SEN College  About the Role We are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEN college for an experienced Specialist Support Teaching Assistant to support young adults with additional learning needs. This role would be every week Monday - Thursday. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people to develop their independence, confidence and life skills within a specialist educational environment. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to provide tailored support to students, both in the classroom and throughout their college day. Key Responsibilities  Provide one-to-one and small-group support to young adults with SEN and additional needs. Support students with their learning, communication, social development and independence. Assist with classroom activities and adapt learning tasks to meet individual needs.
