In this rewarding role, you will provide essential, one-to-one support to students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs)-such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, or ADHD-empowering them to develop the lifelong study habits they need to succeed.About the RoleAs a Specialist Study Skills Tutor, your focus is on how a student learns, rather than what they learn. You won''t be teaching subject-specific course content; instead, you will introduce highly personalised strategies that help students process information, manage workloads, and demonstrate their true knowledge in assignments and exams.Key Responsibilities:Deliver tailored, 1-to-1 study skills sessions to students with dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD, or other neurodivergent learning profiles.Teach practical strategies for academic reading, advanced essay structuring, note-taking, and critical thinking.Help students improve their executive functioning skills, including time management, organisation, and revision planning.Introduce and guide students in using assistive technology (such as text-to-speech software or mind-mapping tools).Foster independence and confidence, helping students recognise their unique academic strengths.Maintain accurate, confidential tracking of student progress via Randstad''s ..... full job details .....
