Permanent, term-time only (there may be scope for a full-time contract 52 weeks; please discuss your preference).Salary: Up to £53,200 FTE DOE. We understand the value of helping our employees achieve their Continued Professional Development goals and offer a £2,000 training allowance in the first year.In this role you will join our Clinical Wellbeing team to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils, hold a Speech and Language therapy caseload, contribute to staff training, consultation and reflective practice, and work with the clinical team to expand our clinical provision in a holistic, therapeutic way. You will be supported by an established Clinical Team and will help ensure safeguarding and pupil-centred practice across the setting.Key responsibilities:Hold a Speech and Language therapy caseload at Brookthorpe Hall School.Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to staff training, consultation and reflective practice.Engage in decision-making and manage your own workload within a nurturing, safeguarding-focused environment.Essential criteria:Speech and Language Therapy degree.Registered with HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT.A minimum of 5+ years practising as a SaLT in a similar setting with diverse and complex needs.Experience in multi-disciplinary working and some responsibility for service and team performance.Clear and concise clinical and research reporting.Experience providing clinical supervision.Experience with multi-professional teams or services within designated specialty.What’s in it for you?Friendly, inclusive environment where you are heard and valued.Career development opportunities and a range of benefits designed to support you personally and professionally.4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial; subject to probation and not a contractual benefit.Wellbeing and health support, including cycle to work and other flexible benefits (Vista platform).Enhanced maternity/paternity leave, fertility support, and other family growth benefits.Additional information:All successful applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks.
