      <description>Location: Sefton | Salary: &amp;pound;25 - &amp;pound;30/hour | Type: Part Time | SEND Tutor - Sefton      The Opportunity     Prospero Teaching is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Tutors to provide personalised 1:1 educational support to children and young people across Sefton.    You will work with learners who may have a range of additional needs and may require a more individualised approach to education. The role involves adapting sessions to suit each learner, building confidence and helping them make positive progress.    This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced teacher, tutor or mentor who enjoys creating supportive and engaging learning environments.     Position Details     * Location: Sefton  * Position: SEND Tutor  * Hours: 5-15 hours per week  * Start Date: September 2026  * Duration: Ongoing     Experience, Training and Qualifications      The successful candidate will ideally have:     * Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND  * Experience delivering 1:1 tuition, teaching or mentoring  * QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (desirable)  * A patient, adaptable and learner-centred approach    Experience supporting learners with SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other additional needs would be advantageous.     ...</description>
