WOODBRIDGE SEND SERVICE “Inspiring successful futures for all”Head of Service: Ms Cate MarsdenSpecialist SEND Teacher- OutreachWoodbridge SEND Service Team comprises specialist qualified teachers and teaching assistants with significant experience of meeting special educational needs. The service caters for CYP in mainstream schools and nurseries with a range of additional needs from 2 to 25 years.We aim to empower schools and families by offering clear, practical support.Tailored Strategies: We provide evidence-based advice and recommendations to help settings and families support CYP with their learning.Reports: Our services include observations and report writing as evidence for diagnostic pathways, panels and statutory assessments.Specialist Interventions: We design and deliver evidence based and bespoke interventions to address specific needs, ranging from for 5-12 week blocks.Expert Training: We deliver customised training and professional development to build the skills and confidence of school staff held either in the school or at our training hub.True Partnership: We work with schools throughout theassess, plan, do, review cycle to ensure every CYP reaches their full potential.Our aim is to help schools and settings build capacity to give the children and young people the very best support to ensure that they gain the most from the educational experiences offered. Lead the Outreach service as part of Woodbridge SEND Service.Provide tailored strategies, evidence-based advice and recommendations to support CYP in learning.Conduct observations and prepare reports to support diagnostic pathways, panels and statutory assessments.Design and deliver specialist interventions, bespoke and evidence-based, typically in 5–12 week blocks.Deliver customised training and professional development for school staff, in-school or at the training hub.Work in partnership with schools throughout the assess, plan, do, review cycle to maximise CYP outcomes.Collaborate with other agencies in Education and Health to extend service impact.Qualifications/Experience: We are seeking an outstanding specialist teacher with vision and energy to develop and progress the service.Application details
