Job Title: Specialist SEND Support Practitioner Area: Rochdale, Greater Manchester Start Date: Monday 27th April 2026 or ASAP Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 600- 750 per week (Dependent on experience and responsibilities) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pmAbout the School:We are seeking a Specialist SEND Support Practitioner to join a supportive and inclusive secondary and sixth form school in Rochdale, working with pupils aged 11-19 with a range of additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, sensory impairments, and physical disabilities.Specialist SEND Support Practitioner Role and Responsibilities:Provide expert support to pupils with complex learning, sensory, or behavioural needs.Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to deliver personalised interventions that promote learning, engagement, and independence.Support the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and EHCP targets.Use your specialist skills to help pupils access the curriculum, develop life skills, and achieve personal goals.Mentor and coach other staff in best practice strategies for SEND support.
