SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time M25 Bury June startTeaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Bury, who are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from June. This role runs 8:30am - 3:30pm and centres on providing tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs through both 1:1 and small group intervention. This role may extend to the following academic year.Your Role Will Include• Delivering focused support to pupils with SEN on a one-to-one basis and in small groups• Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering personalised learning activities• Supporting the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)• Helping to maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment• Working closely with class teachers, the SENCO and external professionals to track progress• Adapting resources and strategies to meet the evolving needs of each pupilWhat We''re Looking For• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths• Previous experience supporting children with SEN• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach• Strong communication and teamwork skills• A commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare• Level 2 Safeguarding qualification (or willingness to complete training)Why Join Teaching Personnel?• Flexibility and Variety: Roles tailored to your skills, aspirations, and availability• Professional Development: Access to high-quality CPD through our ..... full job details .....
