SEN Case Officer

Shropshire fully Remote

Contract
£290 per day

Our client is looking for an experienced SEN Case Officer.

Working arrangements: Monday to Thursday 8:45 to 5pm and Friday 8:45 to 4pm (fully remote)

To manage complex or escalated Annual Review cases, particularly where the review outcome is disputed, unclear, or requires significant amendments.

Key Responsibilities 

- Take ownership of challenging AR cases, including: 

- Disputes from parents/settings

- Requests for specialist or out-of-county placements

- Significant provision changes

- Manage cases from review decision through to amended/final plan

- Prepare and present complex AR outcomes to panel (RCP)

- Justify funding uplifts, placement changes, or specialist provision

- Work closely with Parents/carers (often in dispute scenarios), Schools and SENCOs and Providers and professionals

- Manage expectations and reduce escalation to tribunal where possible
