Specialist Pharmacist

Overview

This fixed term opportunity will support the provision of a 7-day clinical pharmacy service to several cardiac specialties, cardiology, cardiothoracic, GUCH, pre-admission clinics and primary care work. You will encounter exciting opportunities for your personal development as our cardiac services merge into a single, world class integrated cardiovascular centre. You will have the opportunity to work closely with medical and nursing staff on a wide range of medicines management matters to optimise medicines use within the trust to patients with cardiovascular disease. The post supports the lead pharmacist for cardiovascular services in providing responsible, safe and cost-effective prescribing within the networks.Responsibilities
