£22.21 per hour PAYE or £29 per hour limited paid via umbrella company inside IR35

Our client is looking for an experienced is looking for a Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager 

Sickness cover for 6 months - possible extension 
Standard DBS 

5 days per week in the officer for the first 3 months - does have the opportunity to work one day from home depending on skill and reliability in the role. 
37.5 hours per week - 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday 

Will need to be on site to check work - will be an 80% officer 20% site split.

1    A relevant general buildings maintenance / engineering qualification in line with HNC and City and Guilds and/or relevant equivalent experience and Certificate in Construction, Design and Maintenance or a minimum of 5 years in a built environment role. 
2    Extensive experience of building and occupier Health and Safety Regulations and evidence of identification of issues and remedial actions and demonstrable up to date comprehensive knowledge of the Construction, Design and Management Regulations 2015. ( CDM 2015 ability to complete within 3 months)
3    Demonstrable experience of effective project management, both short and longer term, working to and meeting deadlines.
4    Extensive knowledge of health and safety issues (ideally NEBOSH qualified) or IOSH Level 3 Certificate in Safety and Health for Business or equivalent (essential).
5    Ability to use a wide variety of basic IT packages and the ability to use electronic systems i.e. computer aided facilities management systems, e.g., Civica
6    Demonstrable experience of successfully managing Asbestos and Legionella such as NEBOSH, P402 – surveying strategies for asbestos in a building and P405- management of asbestos in a building.
7    Previous experience of contract management & delivery including reporting KPI’s.
8    Able to travel/drive to sites across Milton Keynes as and when required.
