Our client is looking for an experienced Head of Commercial (Contracts, Property and Planning).

1-2 days per week in the office, remainder remote

Draft, negotiate and complete s106, s38, s278 agreements and any other agreement and licences relating to planning and highways matters. Advise on all matters relating on planning and highways matters. Lead, manage and supervise a team of contract lawyers, planning lawyers and property lawyers.

Positively contribute as member of the Legal Services Management Team. Conduct member training.

Attend and advise at planning committee and any other council committees, as necessary.

Deputise for the council's Monitoring Officer including attending high level meetings. Progress the council's various corporate agenda.
