About the Role
Pertemps Medical Professionals is seeking a Specialist Nurse - LAC to join their team in Buckinghamshire. This part-time, contract position falls outside IR35. The role involves conducting statutory Review Health Assessments for Looked After Children, delivering trauma-informed healthcare in line with statutory guidance. Key requirements include NMC registration, degree-level education, and proven experience with Looked After Children. Candidates must be proficient in undertaking Review Health Assessments and be SystmOne trained with an active smartcard. You will work independently, demonstrating a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare. This position offers a chance to directly improve health outcomes for vulnerable young people.
Requirements:
- Registered with NMC
- Degree level education or equivalent
- Experience working with Looked After Children
- Experience undertaking Review Health Assessments
- SystmOne trained with active smartcard
Pertemps Medical are urgently looking to speak with a qualified Specialist Nurse to undertake statutory Review Health Assessments for Looked After Children, ensuring children receive high-quality, trauma-informed healthcare that meets statutory guidance and promotes improved health outcomes.
You must be comfortable and able to work independently with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
