Specialist Nurse - Gynaecology and Endometriosis Outpatients Wirral Competitive Salary on Offer Full TimeSpire Murrayfield Hospital based in Wirral, are looking for a passionate and reliable Gynaecology and Endometriosis Nurse to join our team within our Outpatients Department on a full-time basis.The post holder will work as an integral member of the Endometriosis Multidisciplinary Team within Merseyside and Cheshire Endometriosis Centre as well as supporting Consultants with general gynaecology. The post holder will acknowledge and provide the overall responsibility for the provision of specialist nursing advice and support to patients and families, in-patient and out-patient, throughout their care pathway at Spire Murrayfield. Duties and responsibilitiesTo prioritise workload and respond to changing needs of the service, whilst identifying and managing any risks to quality.To be responsible for the assessment, planning and implementation of specialist nursing care for patients considering or undertaking Gynaecological surgeryTo utilise research-based specialist knowledge of Gynaecological Surgery, Endometriosis, physiology and post-operative care to plan, organise and evaluate patient careAdvise patients, relatives and carers on post operative care.To provide treatments and procedures according to local and national policies.To work flexibly within the outpatient department to ensure specialist gynaecological care, advice and teaching.To liaise with and refer to other ..... full job details .....
