Specialist Learning Support Assistant (SEND) Location: North London Start Date: September 2026 Salary: 18-23 pound per hour ( Depending on your experience ) Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities AvailableAbout the RoleWe are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Specialist Learning Support Assistants to join our SEND team from September 2026.This rewarding role involves supporting learners with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), physical disabilities, and complex medical needs.Working closely with teaching staff and specialist professionals, you will help learners access education, develop independence, improve literacy and numeracy skills, and achieve their individual goals.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-to-one and small-group support to learners with SEND.Support students in developing literacy, numeracy, communication, and life skills.Assist learners to engage in lessons, enrichment activities, and work experience opportunities.Provide personal care support where required, including toileting, feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene.Support learners with mobility needs using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment.Follow individual care plans, risk assessments, and EHCP outcomes.Support learners with medical needs, including medication administration and PEG feeding where trained.Promote independence, ..... full job details .....
