This is a rewarding role working closely with pupils who require structured support, patience, and a personalised approach to learning and care. Key Responsibilities: Support pupils in class and small group activities Use alternative communication methods (e.g. visuals, PECS, Makaton, AAC) Assist with personal care in a respectful and dignified manner Help create a safe, consistent, and supportive learning environment Work closely with teachers and wider professionals About You: Understanding of SEN, particularly ASD and non-verbal communication Calm, patient, and empathetic approach Willingness to support personal care needs Team player with strong communication skills Experience desirable but not essential (training provided) We offer a supportive school environment and ongoing training opportunities.
