Specialist Homelessness Prevention Coordinator

Right now, we are looking for a Specialist Homelessness Prevention Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our Single Homeless Person Service in London. Sounds great, what will I be doing? In this role, you will take ownership of a caseload of individuals at risk of homelessness, delivering proactive and outcome-focused interventions that prevent homelessness and support sustainable housing solutions. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for achieving service targets, monitoring performance against key outcomes, and ensuring statutory duties are met within required timescales. Using your specialist knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017, you will carry out detailed housing assessments, identify barriers to housing stability, and develop practical, co-produced Personal Housing Plans that drive measurable results. You will actively negotiate with landlords, housing providers, local authorities and partner agencies to secure accommodation and prevent tenancy breakdown wherever possible.
