  • Hours: 8:30 - 3:30 (Monday - Friday)

NextGen Teachers are currently working with a SEN school based in Leeds who are seeking to recruit a Specialist Autism Teacher (ASC) who has experience teaching ASC children across the Primary and Secondary age range. This school caters for children with a range of Special Educational needs including: ASC, ADHD, MLD, VI, HI, SLD, PMLD, SEMH and Communication needs. There are also children with Physical and Medical needs.

The role of a Specialist Autism Teacher will be to teach ASC children across school and support with their Education Health Care Plan to ensure the children are making good progress.

We''re seeking a compassionate, skilled teacher to support autistic pupils in a specialist setting. You''ll plan and deliver personalised lessons, adapt the curriculum, and create a structured, sensory-friendly environment. Working closely with therapists, support staff, and families, you''ll promote communication, social skills, and independence. You''ll also manage behaviour positively, track progress, and ensure safeguarding at all times.
