Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you enjoy creating engaging learning experiences that help students build confidence, develop skills and overcome barriers to education?

Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated and experienced SEND Tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to students across Wrexham.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support learners who may have experienced challenges within mainstream education, providing tailored lessons that are adapted to their individual needs, abilities and learning styles. You will play a key role in helping students re-engage with learning, improve their confidence and make positive academic and personal progress.

Tuition may take place in students'' homes, community settings, schools or other agreed venues, depending on individual requirements.

Position Details

* Location: Wrexham
* Position: SEND Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible to suit your availability)
* Start Date: September 2026
* Contract: Ongoing

What We''re Looking For

The successful SEND Tutor will have:

* A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE or equivalent) or significant tutoring experience
* Experience supporting children and young people with SEND, including learning difficulties, additional needs or EHCPs
* Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or small-group interventions
* The ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
* A patient, nurturing and encouraging approach

To Be Eligible, You Must:

* Have the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
* Provide two professional references relating to work with children or young people
