Special Projects Programme Manager

Salary: 72,852 per annum + up to 5% performance bonus The Role: We are seeking a Special Projects Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile Fire Safety Remediation Programme across a residential property portfolio. This role will focus on cladding remediation, building safety, and major capital investment projects, ensuring residents live in safe, compliant homes. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Major Works, you will manage projects from feasibility through to completion and operational handover, overseeing both internally and externally funded schemes. You will play a key role in shaping future remediation programmes, securing external funding, and ensuring projects align with long-term strategic objectives. This is a leadership role requiring strong project governance, stakeholder management, commercial awareness, and the ability to deliver results across multiple complex projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of fire safety remediation and cladding replacement projects from inception to completion. Manage a multi-year capital programme, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Establish and manage robust project governance frameworks, risk registers, reporting structures, and change control processes.
