Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Secondary SEN SchoolEccles Full-Time September StartTradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Secondary SEN School in Eccles from September on a full-time basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.The RoleAs a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils aged 11-16 with a range of additional needs, predominantly Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). The role will involve providing both one-to-one support and working with small groups of students, helping them to access learning, develop social skills, and build confidence both inside and outside the classroom.You will work alongside teachers and other support staff to implement personalised learning strategies and support plans, ensuring every student receives the encouragement and guidance they need to succeed.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding one-to-one support for pupils with autism and other special educational needs.Supporting small groups of students with their academic, social and emotional development.Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.Promoting positive behaviour and helping students develop independence.Building strong relationships with students, staff and ..... full job details .....
