Special Needs Teaching Assistant

SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time (September 2026 Start)

We are currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team in the Watford or Hemel Hempstead area from September 2026.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.

The successful candidate will support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within the classroom, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

• Experience working with children or adults with additional needs
• A caring, patient, and positive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must hold a Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one

• Passionate about supporting individuals with additional needs
• Reliable and proactive
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Experienced in SEN settings, education, care, or support work
