Aspire are currently recruiting for a compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and helping them achieve their full potential.The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support to pupils with a variety of additional needs, including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) Physical and sensory disabilitiesYour responsibilities will include: Providing one-to-one and small group support. Assisting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development. Implementing individual education and behaviour support plans. Supporting pupils with personal care where required. Promoting independence, confidence and positive behaviour. Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers. Recording pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff. Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.Essential Requirements A minimum of 6 months'' experience working in an SEN setting or supporting children with additional needs.
