      <description>Location: Romford | Salary: &amp;pound;13 - &amp;pound;16/hour with holiday pay | Type: Temporary | Recruiting for a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join the team of a welcoming Primary School in Romford working with KS1/KS2 children.  For the role you will be supporting children with ASD, and we are looking for someone who brings patience, creativity and genuine enthusiasm to the role.  September 2026 - Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm (Term time only)   Special Need Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:   	 Supporting KS1/KS2 children. 	 Using a   proactive, fun and engaging  a pproach to learning. 	 Being firm but fair, helping the children understand routines and expectations. 	 Assisting with sensory activities, regulation strategies and learning tasks. 	 Delivering structured interventions such as   Lego Therapy 	 Working closely with teachers and SENCO 	 Helping children build confidence, independence and communication skills.
