Special Needs Teacher

The Teach Team is recruiting qualified secondary/ primary school teacher for short term and long term work in special schools in Birmingham. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Teachers who have qualifications or relevant experience of working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). If you have proven experience, gained in either a mainstream or special school, of working with the following additional needs, would love to hear from you:AutismSpeech, language and communication needs (SLCN)Social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)Moderate learning difficulties (MLD)Severe learning difficulties (SLD)Profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD)Your responsibilities may include:Leading lessons and lesson planningAssist with learning, behaviour, and emotional needsAdapt activities to meet individual needs and EHCPsSupport personal care and medical needs where requiredHelp maintain a safe, inclusive learning environmentWork closely with teaching assistants and other professionalsRequirements:Proven experience working with children and young people with SENDA genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needsA calm and positive mannerExcellent communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenAn Enhanced DBS (we can support with this)The Teach Team will offer you:Competitive rates of payAccess to free training and professional development coursesOpportunities to work across ..... full job details .....
