- All students have a diagnosis of Autism
- The role is in a mainstream primary school but within the school''s additionally resourced provision (ARP)
- The school is located close to Dagenham Heathway tube station (District Line)
- The school was last rated "Good" by Ofsted in 2024.
About you:
- Must have QTS
- Will ideally have previous experience as a special needs teacher, although applicants with experience as a mainstream primary teacher with a strong desire to move into special needs are welcomed and encouraged
- Must have a solid understanding of the specific needs of children with Autism and a strong desire to learn more.
- Must be a strong and effective communicator and team player and be able to engage effectively with the children, staff and parents.
- Must be enthusiastic and committed to inclusive education, believing in the potential of every child
