Rate: GBP140 - GBP220 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
About the School:
Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are partnering with a fantastic specialist school in Leeds that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils, supporting students with a range of complex learning needs, including autism, SEMH, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.
The school is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and highly inclusive environment where every pupil is supported to achieve their full potential, both academically and emotionally. Staff work collaboratively to deliver personalised learning experiences that meet the individual needs of each learner across a wide age and ability range.
As a SEND Teacher, youll join a dedicated team of professionals focused on delivering high-quality, child-centred education within a supportive and forward-thinking specialist setting.
As a SEND Teacher, you will:
Deliver high-quality, tailored teaching across primary and secondary-aged pupils.
Plan and differentiate engaging lessons that meet EHCP outcomes and individual learning needs.
Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external professionals to ensure a consistent, holistic approach.
Support the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils with complex needs.
What Were Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in an SEN or specialist school setting, or strong SEN experience within mainstream.
A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to behaviour management.
Passion for inclusive education and improving outcomes for vulnerable learners.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet a wide range of needs and abilities.
To be eligible, you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS registered on the update service OR be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional child-related references.
