SEND Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools - Oldham Empowering LearningEmpowering Learning is seeking dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs in primary schools across Oldham. We have full-time, part-time, and flexible roles available, with starts available immediately and throughout the academic year.As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping children with a range of special educational needs thrive within a safe, inclusive and supportive school environment. Roles vary across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, including 1:1 support, small group intervention and classroom-based assistance.The role will involve:Providing tailored 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEND, including ASD, SEMH, speech and language needs, learning delays and physical/medical needsSupporting individual education plans (IEPs) and EHCP outcomesUsing SEN strategies to help pupils engage, regulate and make progressBuilding strong, trusting relationships with pupils to promote confidence and independenceWorking closely with class teachers, SENCOs and external professionalsHelping maintain a positive, structured and nurturing learning environmentAssisting with personal care where required (training can be provided)We are looking for SEND Teaching Assistants who:Have experience supporting children or young people with special educational needsAre patient, resilient, empathetic and committed to helping pupils overcome barriersAre ..... full job details .....
