Special Educational Needs Tutor

The Opportunity Prospero Teaching are looking for SEND Tutors in Rochdale to deliver tuition on a 1:1 basis to young people with complex special educational needs. The tutor will be providing 1:1 support to a pupils in the Rochdale area that are currently seeking education other than at school. The tuition will involve delivery of Maths and English and the tutor will be expected to conduct a baseline assessment to assess the students ability and then deliver the curriculum they deem suitable. The support will be taking place at the young persons house or in a local library on a part-time basis (up to 25 hours per week). As an SEN Tutor, you must be able to create, plan and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils education and boost attainment levels. You may be an experienced teacher or have significant experience working with children in a therapeutic way to support their needs through previous SEN specialist positions.
