They are looking for someone who will work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to provide targeted support for children with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning. Your responsibilities will include:Providing 1:1 support to children with additional needs, tailoring approaches to suit each individualSupporting small groups of pupils with targeted interventionsAssisting with behaviour management and implementing strategies to promote positive learning behavioursHelping children develop communication, social, and independence skillsLiaising with class teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent supportThis role requires patience, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
