About the Role As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you ll work within a specialist school supporting children with additional needs, including mental health and communication difficulties.Your role will include: Providing 1:1 and small group support in the classroomAssisting with personal care and maintaining dignity at all timesSupporting behaviour management in a calm and consistent mannerHelping with moving and handling where requiredEncouraging engagement, confidence, and independence in learning This is a term-time, classroom-based role, with working hours typically 8:30am 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
