Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) needed ASAPLocation: Birmingham and surrounding areasReports to: Headteacher / Senior Leadership TeamSalary: 150 - 250 per day, dependent on experience and roleContract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Long-term / TemporaryWorking Hours: School hours, dependent on setting Job Overview:We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated SENCOs to work across a range of schools and educational settings in Birmingham and the surrounding areas.These opportunities may be based within mainstream primary or secondary schools, specialist SEND settings, or alternative provision, supporting pupils with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities.As a SENCO, you will play a key role in coordinating SEND provision, supporting staff and working closely with pupils, families and external professionals to ensure children and young people receive appropriate support to meet their individual needs.We are looking for SENCOs who are passionate about inclusive education, have a strong understanding of SEND, and can work effectively with school leaders and wider support networks to improve outcomes for pupils.Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Coordination: Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school or setting, promoting a consistent and inclusive approach.
