We have a further two care homes in development in London.We are passionate about our people; we seek out those who have a true vocation for care or hospitality.About the opportunityAs a BANK Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for:To support the Life Enrichment and Wellbeing Lead in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and consistently delivering an exceptional spa experience/treatment for our residentsTo deliver a variety of spa services (e.g. manicures, pedicures, massages, and facials) to a high standardTo support the Life Enrichment and Wellbeing Lead/Life Enrichment and Wellbeing Co-ordinators in the implementation of a whole home approach to the provision of meaningful occupation for all residents, taking a proactive attitude towards the engagement of all residents at all timesTo support residents with a range of diagnoses, including dementia and delivering spa treatments for residents who are cared for in bedTo welcome, assist and handle residents’ queries and questions in a friendly, prompt, and professional mannerTo provide recommendations and advice to our residents on treatments and products, including additional services such as holistic heathTo ensure high standards of cleanliness and best practices are always maintained and that health and safety compliance and procedures are adhered toTo have excellent communication skills, to have product and service knowledge to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our residentsTo care for equipment and use appropriate amounts of product to assist with cost controlsTo schedule hairdresser appointments and liaise with relevant third partiesTo be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa and Life Enrichment TeamTo support the team in leading life enriching activities and delivering hospitality services when neededTo work effectively and efficiently without direct supervisionTo create a nurturing environment where our residents and their family members feel loved, happy, safe and secureTo work as part of a team and communicate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and serviceTo perform prep work and restock as requiredTo undertake any administration and reception duties as requested, including liaising with residents and families to book spa treatmentsTo attend training when requiredTo be fully aware of and comply with rules and regulationsTo act as brand ambassador who demonstrates and leads the KYN valuesAbout youYou will have experience of working within a beauty therapy venueYou will have NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Beauty TherapyYou will be a professional, who understands the importance of delivering and maintaining high standards – keeping a safe, clean, and compliant environmentYou will have strong communication skills, a corporative and polite manner, and an eye for detailYou will be trustworthy, caring, adaptable, friendly, and patient and continuingly striving for excellenceAbout our commitment to youCompetitive salary and benefits33 days annual leave including bank holidaysComplimentary meals, hot drinks, and snacks throughout your shiftBespoke company induction and on-going training programmes at all levelsAccess to the best-in-class equipment and technologyCustom-made uniforms providedAnnual bonus (discretionary and scheme rules apply)Employee assistance programme and other attractive wellbeing benefitsDiscount schemesCompany contributory pension scheme and life insuranceAnd much more……To find out more about KYN, our teams and values please visit
