Southwark - Senior SW - A&I Team - £39.04 p/h Umb

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Assessment & Intervention Team for the London Borough of Southwark

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Managing complex caseloads involving children in need, child protection, and pre-proceedings.
* Completing statutory Child & Family Assessments and progressing cases in line with safeguarding thresholds.
* Undertaking Section 47 enquiries and leading on risk assessments to ensure child safety.
* Preparing court reports and care plans, and contributing to legal proceedings where required.
* Working collaboratively within a multi-agency environment to support families and safeguard children.
* Providing guidance and informal support to junior staff within the team.
* Maintaining accurate and timely case recordings in line with statutory and local authority requirements.

Working Pattern:
* Hybrid working

Pay Rate:
* -39.04 p/h Umb

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years'' experience in children''s social care
* Experience within Assessment, Safeguarding, or Child Protection teams
* Social Work England Registration
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures
