Occupational Therapist - Reablement Team (Southampton) Rate: 34- 38 per hour (dependent on experience, skills, and availability)Role Overview: Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide short-term cover within the Reablement Team at Southampton City Council. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy services to adults with care and support needs, supporting independence and wellbeing in the community.Key Responsibilities:Conduct occupational therapy assessments, care planning, and reviews to promote personal independence and daily living skills.Advise, teach, and support individuals and carers in overcoming disability and maximizing independence.Recommend and provide standard and specialist equipment and advise on home adaptations.Liaise with colleagues in health, social care, and partner agencies to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary support.Supervise and support Occupational Therapy Assistants and students as required.Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, professional standards, and Council policies.Commit to safeguarding adults and uphold the Council''s Equality Policy.Essential Requirements:Diploma or BSc in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent, recognized by WFOT).Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).Experience in a health or social care community setting.Ability to manage a demanding and unpredictable caseload, prioritizing ..... full job details .....
