As our Sous Chef, you''ll be instrumental in leading and coordinating our kitchen operations, working closely with Executive Chef Sami Harvey. This isn''t just a service-based role; you''ll be a true leader, responsible for maintaining exceptional food standards, ensuring staff welfare, and expertly managing all aspects of the kitchen.Key Responsibilities:

Kitchen Leadership: Lead and coordinate kitchen operations, ensuring seamless food service and maintaining impeccable food quality and safety standards.Operational Management: Take full responsibility for all ordering, inventory management using computer systems, and invoicing. Manage kitchen organisation, stock rotation, and wastage to meet food cost percentages.Section Expertise: Work across and have a thorough understanding of every section, including prep requirements and standards.Pass and Expediting: Run the pass and expedite dishes to the highest standard.Team Development: Train, supervise, and nurture the kitchen team, including new staff and Kitchen Porters. Provide structured briefings and knowledge to Front of House staff.Compliance: Oversee all food safety and health and safety policies, ensuring adherence to legislation and proficiently managing Alert 65. Implement allergen procedures for both Front and Back of House.Financial Awareness: Possess commercial awareness to meet financial requirements and budgets, including producing quality staff meals within budget and managing par levels.Who You Are:
