Sous Chef

Job Title: Sous Chef Location: Based primarily at our Harston kitchen, with the exciting opportunity to travel to a variety of locations when on event days. Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Hours: 5 days over 7 (rotas planned in advance) About the Role We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Chef to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in line with company standards, while maintaining consistency, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced catering environment.You will also play a key role in leading and supporting the kitchen team on event days across multiple locations, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional delivery. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present food to set recipes and portion standards. Uphold excellent food safety, hygiene, and allergen control at all times. Work efficiently to meet service deadlines and client expectations. Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and overall kitchen organisation. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Support all chefs with kitchen duties as required. Lead and manage the kitchen team during events, ensuring high standards are maintained. About You Proven experience as a Chef in catering, events, or a similar role. Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices. Supervisory experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Excellent ..... full job details .....
