The Scarlett Pub Company is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie who is looking for their first Sous Chef position or a Current Sous Chef looking for a new Challenge to join a small hotel and bar in the centre of Wells. For the past nine years, The Scarlett Pub Company is a family run business that has focused on craft beer, local ales and ciders, and this is an opportunity to join our fifth venue. We are proud to support UK independent breweries, and locally sourced produce. The role is working in a fast-paced fresh food kitchen producing everything from breakfast to classic British Pub food to a high standard.As the Sous Chef you will, along with the Head Chef and General Manager, be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Kitchen, maintaining high and consistent standards and up to date due diligence, managing the stock levels, have a good understanding of GPs, and supporting team development and driving growth of the business and working to targets set by the finance team.
