Sous Chef Annual Salary: £14.83 per hour Location: Wymondham Job Type: Full-time - 6.00-14.00 or 11.30-19.30 Duration: Temporary to Permanent - Immediate Start Join our dedicated team in Wymondham, where we are committed to providing excellent culinary experiences. We are currently seeking a skilled Sous Chef to oversee our kitchen operations during a mix of shifts. Day-to-day of the role: Assist the Head Chef in the planning and preparation of meals. Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff. Ensure the quality and timely preparation of all dishes. Implement and maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen. Manage inventory and order kitchen supplies as needed. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a busy kitchen environment. Must hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to undertake. Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team. Excellent cooking skills with a keen eye for freshness, quality, and cleanliness.
