Rare opportunity for a chef keen to progress to the next level. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Development Chef to join our clients café with a clear path to becoming Head Chef. This is an exciting opening for a chef with strong foundations in fresh food production, creative flair, and a deep respect for culinary classics. Working straight daytime shifts 5 days per week you will work closely with the Head of Catering and Hospitality to shape the future of the kitchen operation, develop innovative menus, and play a key role in staff training and kitchen leadership. You will benefit from further on site training.ATTRIBUTES

Proven experience in a fresh food environment (café, bistro, or restaurant level).Excellent cooking ability with a strong grasp of traditional and contemporary British cuisine.A creative approach to menu development, with a passion for seasonal and local ingredients.Strong operational awareness and the ability to support the kitchen''s broader needs beyond cooking.Disciplined, organised, professional, and confident in a leadership role.Excited by the long-term opportunity to step up into a Head Chef role.
