About the Role

This permanent Sous Chef role with H&C Solutions sits in Battersea, where a new neighbourhood restaurant is preparing to open. The kitchen will produce fresh handmade pasta daily alongside an Italian-inspired menu of eight pasta dishes plus starters and mains, served across roughly 40 indoor covers and 15 outside. Working within a small brigade of three chefs, the successful candidate will support the Head Chef in running service, maintaining consistency and overseeing prep. Strong pasta-making ability, kitchen organisation and teamwork are essential. The salary is competitive, with a stated range of £45,000 to £50,000.

Our client is opening an exciting new neighbourhood restaurant in Battersea, specialising in fresh, handmade pasta and authentic Italian-inspired cooking. The restaurant will have an intimate setup with approximately 40 covers inside and a further 15 outside, offering a small, carefully considered menu where quality and consistency are the main focus. All food will be prepared in-house, including fresh pasta made daily.

Sous Chef requirements:

A strong Sous Chef who is confident overseeing a small kitchen and leading a close-knit brigade.
Previous experience working with fresh, quality ingredients within a reputable restaurant environment.
An organised and hands-on chef who takes pride in consistency, kitchen standards and preparing food from scratch.
