SOUS CHEF

Sous Chef

A wonderful opportunity to work for an exciting and dynamic new brand restaurant in a management position within the kitchen. Working alongside and reporting to our Head Chef, you will be enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable about cooking delicious and fresh/seasonal Spanish food.

Our Sous Chef will need to drive a high standard of execution and be committed to deliver consistent, beautiful dishes as part of our new restaurant concept.

- Supporting senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities

- Executes and supervises the preparation, cooking and service of various food, items ensuring consistency and quality

- Develops and implements creative menu items that adhere to our Head Chef approval.

• Assist the Exec / Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus
• Assist the Exec / Head Chef in food purchases while controlling costs

- Leads and coaches the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results

- Monitors food production, ordering, quality and consistency on a daily basis

• Ensure you and your team maintain the highest of standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health and safety

What we are looking for:

• At least 1-3 years of previous experience as Sous Chef in a professional kitchen
• Knowledge of Spanish cuisine desirable but not essential
• A stable work history
• You have a positive ''can do'' attitude and high attention to detail
• You are passionate, driven, organised and punctual
• Looking for career progression
