Sous Chef

We are looking for an experienced and driven Sous Chef to join a busy kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented chef to step into a leadership role, working closely with the Head Chef to deliver outstanding dishes and a smooth service.

As a Sous Chef, you will take responsibility for managing the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, supervising junior staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene. You’ll play a key role in maintaining efficiency across the kitchen while helping to inspire creativity and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

• Supervise, train, and motivate junior chefs.

• Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and portion control.

• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety standards.

• Assist with menu planning, stock control, and ordering supplies.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong background as a Chef de Partie looking to progress.

• Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail.

• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

• A passion for food and a commitment to delivering quality under pressure.
