My client is looking for a talented Sous Chefandnbsp;to join a prestigious award-winning hotel and restaurant in Derbyshire and support the Head Chef in delivering an exceptional dining experience in a multi-rosette kitchen.

This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone with experience at rosette or fine dining level, looking to step into a progressive and rewarding environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
• Lead and supervise junior chefs in a busy fine dining kitchen
• Maintain high culinary standards, presentation, and consistency
• Manage stock, ordering, and food cost control
• Ensure strict compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations
• Train and develop kitchen staff to reach their full potential
• Be hands-on during service, ensuring dishes leave the pass to standard and on time

What weandrsquo;re looking for:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous in a fine dining/rosette kitchen
• Passion for fresh, seasonal, locally sourced food
• Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support your team
• Strong organisational and stock management skills
• A hands-on chef who thrives in a busy kitchen environment
