Techniche Global are supporting a leading energy technology company to appoint a Sourcing Specialist. The role sits within the UK Indirect Sourcing function and will focus on supporting supplier selection, negotiations and ongoing supplier management across a broad range of in They are looking for someone with a solid background in procurement / sourcing (ideally indirect), who is comfortable working across multiple categories, leading negotiations and contributing to cost reduction / deflation initiatives. Rate: up to £25p/hr PAYE + holiday pay + pension pay (inside IR 35) Location: Stafford- 3 days onsite/ 2 days WFH Duration: 6 months initially Roles and Responsibilities Support the Indirect Sourcing Team to identify, select and negotiate with suppliers to get most competitive offer. Experience with majority if not all Indirect Commodities, MRO, FM, Professional Services, Labour, IT and Utilities. Ensure all active suppliers are approved and compliant (Supplier Connect / Complyworks). Enforce supplier strategy and Sourcing policies including management and optimization of supplier panels. Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers. Support budget planning and deliver Sourcing deflation and payment targets. Negotiate terms and conditions.
