Sourcing Coordinator

A food manufacturing company is looking for a Sourcing Coordinator to join its fun, fast-paced environment in Barking. You will be required to drive activities across the toppings category, supporting National and Traded customer accounts through effective supplier management, project coordination, and market engagement. The role plays a key part in delivering manufacturing trials, identifying innovation opportunities, and ensuring sourcing projects are executed efficiently.Key responsibilities as Sourcing Coordinator:Support activities for ingredients, packaging, and services within the toppings category.Support the delivery of National and Traded customer projects from concept through to implementation.Coordinate manufacturing trials, ensuring materials, samples, specifications, and supplier support are available to meet project timelines.Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive service, innovation, quality, and value.Evaluate suppliers and sourcing options, onboarding, balancing commercials, operational, and technical requirements.Conduct supplier visits to strengthen partnerships, assess capabilities, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.Attend trade shows and industry exhibitions to identify emerging trends, new suppliers, innovative ingredients, and packaging solutions.Work closely with Commercial, NPD, Technical, Quality, Operations, and Finance teams to support business objectives.Monitor market developments and proactively identify ..... full job details .....
