Source InspectorRole PurposeThe Source Inspector is responsible for ensuring suppliers consistently meet quality requirements and aerospace industry standards. Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will conduct supplier audits, perform source inspections, manage supplier quality issues, and drive corrective actions to improve supplier performance and reduce non-conforming material.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with Acro and aerospace quality requirements.Perform source inspections and verify First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with AS9102.Raise and manage Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs) through to effective closure.Lead root cause investigations and support implementation of corrective and preventative actions.Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.Review supplier quality trends and drive 8D problem-solving activities.Work closely with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.Support suppliers in developing PFMEAs, Control Plans, and inspection processes.Reduce supplier-related non-conforming material and manage containment activities.Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and supplier readiness.RequirementsEssentialExperience in a Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, or Source Inspection role.Experience conducting supplier audits and managing supplier quality issues.Working knowledge of AS9100, AS9102 and aerospace ..... full job details .....
