This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in London.Our client is seeking a Solutions Engineer with 2 years’ experience who will work within a Scrum team to apply business requirements to develop solutions that satisfy customer needs. You will also provide support for the product in the live environment by analyzing raised issues and developing fixes to resolve problems. You will autonomously write clean, efficient code using SQL Server to translate Business Requirements into effective solution functionality.ResponsibilitiesTranslate user stories into functional solutions using SQL Server (DDL, DML, aggregates, basic performance tuning)Support production environments and deliver fixes and improvementsContribute to system design and development planningLearn and apply modern tools such as Python, PowerShell, Snowflake, and potentially streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Spark)Engage with cloud, data warehouse, and modern ETL concepts as the platform evolvesMaintain high code quality with unit testing and best practicesTake ownership of code through build, test, and deployment phasesCommunicate clearly and collaborate effectively across ..... full job details .....
